NoGi Program

NoGi Program

Our NoGi Jiu Jitsu class focuses on fast-paced grappling and practical self-defense without the traditional gi (wearing a form-fitting athletic shirt and shorts). Students develop wrestling-based takedowns, clinch control, escapes, guard work, positional dominance, and submissions while improving movement, balance, speed, and overall athleticism. Training is safe, structured, and suitable for beginners through advanced practitioners.

1. What is NoGi?

NoGi in Jiu Jitsu is a style of grappling practiced without the traditional gi. Instead, students wear a fitted rash guard (top) and athletic shorts, creating a faster-paced training environment that emphasizes movement, body control, and technique rather than clothing grips.

2. Is there a schedule for the NoGi Class?

Monday / Wednesday / Friday 6:15pm-7:15pm

3. What Should I Wear?

Please wear a form-fitting athletic shirt and shorts. Long hair must be pulled back and tied, no body/hair/face jewelry allowed, and no shoes/socks allowed on mats.

4. What if this is my first class?

You may come in a t-shirt and shorts.

5. Anything else I should bring?

We encourage you to bring a full water bottle as there will be multiple quick breaks to hydrate.
